What a token buys
- One complete spirometry test session per patient - as many efforts as it takes to reach an acceptable, repeatable ATS/ERS 2019 session, one charge.
- The full report set: one-page and full clinical reports (HTML / PDF / PNG / CSV), z-score bars, acceptability matrix, GOLD staging, AI interpretation draft.
- Calibration, syringe checks, patient database, history comparison and software updates cost nothing.
Why pay-per-test instead of a subscription?
Most spirometry software in South Africa is sold as an annual licence per PC on top of the hardware. A surveillance clinic that runs 40 tests a month and a GP who runs 4 pay the same. Tokens scale with the work: a small practice on the free 1000 tokens may not pay for months; a mine clinic on the Clinic or Enterprise pack pays about R33–R35 a test with no renewal date to remember.
Hardware
SpiroWright runs on the AME / IQTeQ pressure-pneumotach USB sensor (HEXAR Core). If you already own an AME or IQTeQ head, there is nothing to buy - install SpiroWright and use your free tokens. For a new HEXAR Core sensor or a quote for multiple sites, email [email protected].
